3. Improve Home Recording Room Acoustics

The goal for a home recording room is to get the best sound quality possible and keep the amount of noise from getting in and out of the room to a minimum.

If you plan to have your music studio built in a regular house room. Determine if your room walls will need to be fitted with sound loss prevention materials. Mounted tiles, ceiling panels or acoustic barriers.

Sound proofing materials definitely better the quality of live recording within the room. Sound travels in every direction at over 1100 kilometers per hour! The right materials are especially designed to maximize recording quality by absorbing reflections of sound echo.

Concrete and drywall absorb less than 10% of excess noise. Proper materials for sound proofing can absorb nearly 90% of echo reverberations. If approximately 50% of the room is covered with the proper acoustic panels or barriers, it is going to pay off when recording the music.
